   Institute for Research and Development of Teacher Professions for ASEAN, Khon Kaen University On behalf of the agencies jointly driving the project Was honored to participate in presenting work for the development of teacher education at The 7th UNESCO UNITWIN International Conference on Quality Teacher Education 2023 between 6 - 7 July 2023 at Mahidol University. Nakhon Pathom Province

   On July 6, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Prof.Dr. Young Hoon Kim Program Coordinator of UNESCO UNITWIN Program gave the opening speech at The 7th UNESCO UNITWIN International Conference on Quality Teacher Education 2023. and was honored by Prof. Dr. Jong Woo Kim, President of the Korea National University of Education, South Korea, and Assistant Professor Dr. Thatchawee Leelawat, Vice President of Mahidol University, the Information Department and Kanchanaburi Campus gave a welcome speech and were honored by Associate Professor Dr. Prawit Erawan, Secretary-General of The OTEPC, expressed his congratulations on organizing the event in Thailand. This international conference The objective is to focus on expanding the educational network in Asia. and develop teacher education to be of greater quality and to achieve the goal of sustainable educational development (Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education,SDG 4)

   Within the event, there were presentations of work from representatives from various countries under various topics such as Digital Transformation in Education, Pedagogical Skills and Development, STEM in Education, STEM Education Program and Teacher Training Program. Institute for Research and Development of Teacher Professions for ASEAN by Assistant Professor Dr. Jiradawan Hantula, Assistant Director of the Institute. Professional development and academic services, Faculty of Education Professor Khon Kaen University. Attend the presentation on the topic: Enhancing Teacher Training: Developing Problem Situations in NASA STEM Education for the Concept of 'Touchdown'.

   This is a presentation of the application of Japanese Lesson Study (LS) innovation in Thailand under the name “Thailand Lesson Study incorporated Open Approach (TLSOA)” and studies have been conducted to strengthen classroom development so that teachers have the skills and ability to drive quality classrooms. By having teachers practice creating problem situations (co plan) and jointly observe ideas in class (co do) to develop in the next class (co see) using NASA STEM Education on the concept of 'Touchdown ' by organizing training for 58 teachers in Nong Khai Province and 78 people in Bangkok. and Professor Dr.Nisakorn Bunsena, Faculty of Education Khon Kaen University Presented on the topic Professional Development Practice: TLSOA-Experience Sharing from KKU, Thailand. Presented on the professional development of teachers in Thailand who have brought in TLSOA innovation to help promote and develop thinking skills in schools since 2007.

   On July 7, 2023, onsite participants participated in a workshop organized into groups by country. Together, they discussed and designed and developed a curriculum for training to develop teachers and to achieve the goal of sustainable educational development according to the project's objectives. This activity was organized by the Korea National University of Education (KNUE), Republic of Korea (South Korea), supported by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), France. In carrying out the project “UNESCO-KNUE UNITWIN PROGRAM” since 2019, with 6 universities in 5 countries participating in driving the project, consisting of

In order to strengthen the global cooperation mechanism for sustainable educational development (Sustainable Development Goals) and to adjust education to meet the changing needs of each generation of the population according to the current situation. including institutional strategies in creating cooperation for academic strength and support ensuring that everyone has comprehensive and equitable quality education. and supporting opportunities for lifelong learning (SDG4) as well as creating international cooperation towards sustainable development (SDG17). Therefore, there is continuous discussion and cooperation.
