UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY COLLABORATION SEMINARS: The 9th TOYO System Seminar On Thursday, February 13, 2025 (B.E. 2568), the Foundation for Educational Development for Thinking Skills and Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN, Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with Toyo System Co., LTD. and The Mathematics Certification Institute of Japan, organized the UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY COLLABORATION SEMINARS. This event aimed to create a collaborative network for improving the quality of teaching and learning and for developing the teaching profession both domestically and internationally.
This was the 9th consecutive TOYO System Seminar, and this year's theme was "Jointly Solving Environmental Problems According to TOYO SYSTEM Practices to Achieve Carbon Neutrality." The objective was to enable participants to learn about innovation development, educational participation, and to foster a mindset of contributing to the community, social responsibility, and environmental responsibility of the organization. This was achieved through Carbon Neutrality, which aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to zero, and the promotion of hydrogen energy use, relying on collaboration between the private sector and the community, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is because hydrogen can be generated from various resources, emits fewer greenhouse gases, has a lower environmental impact, and boasts high energy efficiency.
The seminar featured esteemed speakers, including Assistant Professor Dr. Phongthanat Sae-joo, Director of Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maitree Inprasitha, Chairman of the Foundation for Educational Development for Thinking Skills, along with Mr. Hideki Shoji, President of TOYO System Co., Ltd., who delivered the opening remarks.
